The directorate of criminal investigations insists there are no abductions in the country, saying all suspects arrested are arrested and arraigned in accordance with the law. But even as the directorate dismisses claims of being involved in abductions, the family of advocate John Eric Wesonga who represented a number of youth during the Gen Z led protests, claims he was abducted by people believed to be law enforcement agents in Ruaka town.
