27 new mothers detained over bills at Moi hospital, claims denied

Twenty-seven new mothers are detained at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital over unpaid bills. The women, patients, some of whom have been arrested at the facility for up to three months, complain of inhumane treatment and congestion. The hospital, however, denies the disparaging claims of inhumane treatment of the patients in the maternity wing.
