Three students from Mbakaini secondary school in Machakos are set to represent Kenya in the World Robotic olympiads to be held in Turkey later this year. The three girls emerged top in the recently concluded national competition, having built a prototype that can be used to reconstruct houses after calamities such as earthquakes. The students are however seeking financial assistance in order to realise their dream of venturing into robotics and coding.
