⚽ This year’s Afcon results have been overturned. The Senegalese government has now called for an "independent international investigation" into "suspected corruption" at African football's governing body after it stripped the country of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title and awarded it to Morocco. Senegal beat Morocco 1-0 in the final on 18 January. But the match was overshadowed when Senegalese players refused to play after the hosts were awarded a stoppage-time penalty with the match goalless.
