The Aftermath of El Nino rains that left many struggling to rise again in Wajir

People living in arid and semi-arid counties in Kenya's north are slowly rebuilding their lives after they were hit by a double tragedy. Five failed rain seasons led to the deaths of thousands of livestock, shattering their livelihoods and what remained was swept away by raging flood waters from the last rainy season which was catalysed by the El Nino phenomenon.
