The anti-corruption court has stopped proceedings against Jane Waigwa Kimani, wife of former Murang'a Governor Mwangi wa Iria and her brother Solomon Mutura Kimani who were earlier today charged at the anti-corruption court in Nairobi for fraudulently acquiring 140m through an irregular tender. The former governor and eight others including his wife and brother-in-law are suspects in a 140m procurement fraud that occurred between 2015 -2016.
