Athletics Kenya officials have called on athletes to safeguard the sport jealously if they are to reap the benefits of running for a long time. Led by the Youth Committee Chairman Barnaba Korir, the officials have criticized those they call ‘derailers’ for spreading negative stories about the federation. The officials were presiding over the awards ceremony for the winners of the Eldoret City Marathon in Eldoret town.
