Audit questions Bungoma’s KSh 3.6m Christmas spending

Bungoma county government spent sh3.6 million to light up a Christmas tree in September 2019, sparking concerns over wastage and corruption across counties. The Senate County Public Accounts Committee has also flagged Masinde Muliro Stadium, claimed to be 95% complete, yet showing serious infrastructural defects.
