Residents of two wards in Bobasi constituency have threatened to recall area MP Innocent Obiri if he fails to fix a collapsed bridge in Nyamache township. During a protest led by Masige West Member of County Assembly Jacob Bagaka and his Masige East counterpart Michael Motume, the residents lamented that the poor state of the bridge poses grave danger to the residents. The residents claimed economic activities had been hampered while services at the local deputy county commissioner were inaccessible after the bridge was swept by torrential rains in May last year.
