Despite significant strides in digital infrastructure, Kenya still contends with a huge digital divide, with millions lacking access to reliable internet, television, and essential digital skills. According to the communication authority of Kenya, the government, through the universal service fund, now aims to bridge the gap, even as it targets 100 percent broadband coverage by 2030. But despite the efforts by the government experts in the communication sector have been concerns over broadband usage. Noting that, though the country is significantly covered, only 30 percent of the population makes full use of the services.
