Bunge la Mwananchi now wants legal action taken against National Hospital Insurance Fund CEO Elijah Wachira for contempt of court. The lobby group who took to the streets to push for the execution of the court order found themselves in the wrong side of the law after police threw tear gas canisters to disperse them. Wachira is accused of having ignored the court order served by Lady Justice Mong'are on 2nd April 2024 to pay Jomec Ltd a rehabilitation centre hospital in Nakuru more than 160 million shillings.
