Investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire that destroyed property worth millions of shillings and left several people homeless on Thursday evening at Katani Villas in Katani, Machakos County. The Katani Villas community chairman, Elias Omondi, says the affected families are now depending on neighbours and unoccupied houses for accommodation and to keep their salvaged belongings.
