China is out to stamp its footprints in Africa through exchange programs where African journalists will have an opportunity to experience the country. 28 journalists from Kenya, four among them from Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, attended one such program hosted by theResearch and Training Institute of the National Radio and Television Administration in Beijing. The two-week program was designed to build professional capacity, foster international cooperation, and strengthen ties between China and Kenya’s media industries. The KBC team that attended the seminar now shares the following lessons from China.
