Members of Parliament from the coast region have pledged to table a motion in parliament to push for the ban of Muguka trade in the country. The legislators under the umbrella of the coast parliamentary group led by Kilifi North MP Owen Baya maintained the stimulant was toxic and wiping out the youth. This comes amid a court order issued by Embu law courts that put on hold an executive order banning the consumption and sale of the stimulant in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties.
