The Government has set aside 18.4 billion shillings for the rollout of the Universal Health Coverage that is set to be launched on Mashujaa Day on Friday in Kericho County. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said the ambitious flagship Kenya Kwanza program will ensure equitable access to health services for all Kenyans. Gachagua, speaking during the official opening of a three-day Universal Health Coverage exhibition and conference in Kericho County’s Kapkatet Stadium affirmed there will be close collaboration with county governments to promote primary healthcare and reduce the disease burden in Kenya.
