Kenya is among the first nine countries in Africa set to introduce an injectable HIV preventive drug known as Lenacapavir. The World Health Organization has approved the twice-a-year injection as a new and highly effective option in the fight against HIV. health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale says Kenya will begin rolling out the drug early next year, calling it a major step toward the eradication of HIV in the country.
