Connected Africa Summit in Nairobi shifts focus to implementation and cross-border digital systems

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has urged African nations to move beyond fragmented digital gains and accelerate efforts toward a more integrated and unified digital economy. He said this while officially opening the Connected Africa summit 2026, drawing government leaders, policymakers, investors and technology innovators from nearly 30 countries.
