Police in Kakamega county have arrested eight suspects and impounded two vehicles after recovering 55 bags of cement believed to have been stolen from the Affordable Housing construction site on the outskirts of Kakamega town. Senior police officers in the area, led by Kakamega OCPD Vincent Cherutich, said the suspects, among them a security guard, were arrested while loading the cement onto the vehicles.
