CS Migos says 96% of learners have joined senior school

The ministry of education now says it has achieved a 96% transition rate for learners in grade ten. Cs Julius Ogambo informed members of parliament that despite the challenges that plagued the two week exercise, nearly all regions in the country registered over 94% transition rate apart from the coast region which had 89% of its grade learners move to grade ten. at the same time, the Cs says that there is a 48.3 billion shillings deficit in the financing of basic education in the country
