Let's stay on the grade 10 transition crisis tonight, as we continue highlighting the struggles of vulnerable learners still stuck at home despite the government’s order to report to school. We have some good news: Dennis Mutuku Mutua, one of the learners left behind in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, has finally been admitted to Mumbuni Boys Secondary in Machakos after his story was highlighted on Citizen TV. Mutua says he is now on his way to becoming a software engineer. But his fate stands in sharp contrast to Quincy Achieng from Dandora, whose grandmother cannot afford to enrol her in a local day school.
