The death toll from the ongoing floods crisis across the country has risen to 219, after 9 more fatalities were reported in the latest update. Ministry of interior records indicate that over 41,248 households have been displaced by the floods, that have affected 223,198 people so far. The Ministry of Interior , following the advice of the Kenya Meteorological Department, has also listed 33 counties set to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in the next few days.
