Demolition leaves hundreds of traders counting losses in Githurai

More than one thousand traders at Githurai market are counting heavy losses after their stalls were demolished overnight in an operation by the Kenya National Highways Authority to pave the way for the construction of bus bays, hours after traders staged protests against the planned exercise.
