The Doctor’s strike in Kiambu County has stretched into its 107th day, crippling health services and leaving patients with no option but to seek services in private facilities. The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union, together with the civil society group Bunge Mashinani Kiambaa branch, is now accusing the county leadership of neglecting the crisis and failing to engage medics in talks.
