Speaking in Kasarani, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki says the NYOTA programme is designed to support young Kenyans who may lack formal papers or qualifications but have the ability to do business. He notes that past systems focused mainly on those with documents, leaving many capable youth behind. Under NYOTA, at least 70 youths in every ward will benefit from KSh50,000 to help them start or grow their businesses.
