44 Million voters are expected to participate in todays’ general elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The country announce the closure of its land and sea borders for 24 hours to allow for the smooth take-off and conclusion of the elections. The airspace is also closed to unauthorised local flights but international flights will continue normally.
