The World Bank Group is projecting a 3.4 percent economic growth for Sub Saharan African countries. This is up from a low of 2.6 percent registered in the region in 2023. The bank has however expressed reservation that the growth remains fragile due to the uncertainty of global economic conditions, growing debt service obligations, and frequent natural disasters among other factors
