Election observers and civil society groups in the country now want the chairperson and six commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to hit the ground running once they assume office. With less than three years to the next general election, concerns are mounting over whether the commission will have enough time to implement key reforms. Observers are also urging the IEBC selection panel to ensure that the new commissioners reflect integrity, inclusivity, and competence. Ben Chumba reports.
