Engineers eye blue economy as Mombasa convention highlights skills gap

Kenyan engineers are set to explore how the profession can support the growth of the country’s blue economy at the upcoming 7th Engineering Partnerships Convention scheduled for April 21st to 24th in Mombasa. The meeting, themed Engineering a Sustainable Blue Economy, will bring together regulators, academia and industry players to examine engineering solutions such as coastal protection, marine renewable energy, pollution control and sustainable aquaculture.
