Public transport disruption looms as operators announce nationwide strike over fuel prices

Jeff: Transport across the country will be disrupted Monday as public service vehicle operators announce withdrawal of vehicles to push for lowering of fuel prices. Olive: The nationwide strike effective midnight will see matatu, buses and commercial vehicle operators ground their vehicles to protest the spike in fuel prices. Jeff: This as a petitioner moved to the High Court seeking to stop the implementation of the new fuel prices. Gatete Njoroge reports.
