Environment Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale says the rising incidence of cancer in the country could be partly attributed to the high number of buildings still having asbestos roofing, 18 years since the carcinogenic material was banned. Speaking when he appeared before the National Assembly public petitions committee, the CS revealed that among the buildings still lagging behind in the exercise include the Kenyatta National Hospital which treats cancer patients.
