Faith-based organisations are pleading with the government to release funds owed to them by the social health authority to ensure services continue, arguing that most of their facilities are on the brink of collapse. The consortium, which held a round table meeting to discuss funding in the shrinking donor space, is calling on the government to help faith-based organizations, which serve about 40% of the population. The consortium is also demanding inclusion in the g2g deal between Kenya and the US government, arguing that they serve a sizeable share of the population.
