Fake exams peddler: University student selling fake exams via Telegram charged in court

    A university student who has been selling fake national examination papers through his telegram account of 20, 000 followers has today been charged in court. Peter Karanja Njambi, a second-year student at rift valley institute of science and technology denied the charges before Nairobi chief magistrate Wendy Muchemi. Peter was charged that he knowingly publicized information through electronic media operating under the name professor David/James claiming to be offering Kenya national examination papers, which he knew to be false. He faces other charges of unlawfully being in possession of an east African community passport and two national identity cards not registered in his name.
