A family in Shinoyi village, Navakholo constituency, Kakamega County is calling for government intervention over a standoff between them and the police.The family alleges the police have denied them a burial permit which is required for them to bury their 17-year-old son . The student, identified as Oliver Makoha, was reportedly murdered while on his way to a disco Matanga. The family is now accusing the local authorities of frustrating their efforts to lay their son to rest and is calling for justice and intervention from relevant government agencies.
