Farmers in Mbeere North Constituency Embu county, have turned to sorghum farming in a bid to safeguard food security against the negative effects of climate change. According to Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku, other food crops such as maize were not doing well leading to the establishment of a sorghum farming project in the area which is set to be scaled up to other zones.
