Floods after Sondu Miriu River broke its banks

Three hundred families from Homa Bay have been rendered homeless, after River Sondu Miriu broke its banks following the heavy rains that began on Friday. In Nyeri, tens of acres of crops have been destroyed, with residents living in fear of a mudslide in the coming days.
