Floods kill 44, tens missing as schools reopen for clean-up

    Learning was disrupted in several schools across the country on Monday morning following Friday evening’s floods that wreaked havoc in many regions. At Kware Primary School in Nairobi, pupils and teachers were forced to begin the week clearing mud and debris after classrooms were submerged and raw sewage spilled into the school compound. And as Emily Chebet reports, the death toll from the floods has now risen to 44, even as recovery and evacuation operations continue.
