A section of professionals, the Council of Elders and leaders from Mandera County are pledging to unveil a lineup to sweep them into county political leadership. The leaders led by former Mandera Senator Eng. Amb Mohamed Maalim Mahmud, who is eyeing the governor's seat in the 2027 poll, says they will not focus on a party ticket but rather on the issues facing residents during their campaigns.
