Gachagua seeks Sh80m damages and full benefits after impeachment removal

Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua now wants more than sh80 million in special damages compensation for his removal from office, calling on the courts to declare his ouster unconstitutional. In court documents seen by Citizen TV, Gachagua, through his legal team, is also seeking pension and other retirement benefits due to the deputy president, arguing before the three-judge bench that he is entitled to the full perks.
