Garissa residents decry poor sewage management

Residents of Bouralgy village in Garissa County are decrying poor sewage management that is a health hazard to humans and animals, in addition to disrupting their daily lives. They say relevant authorities have taken no action after the sewer lines were destroyed by floods during the December 2023 El Nino rains. The residents say their plea to both the national and county governments to repair the sewer lines has been ignored.
