Gender based violence cases on the rise in Kisii

Kisii County has been mentioned as a hotbed for Gender based violence, accounting for 25% of the national figures. This was brought to light during a public participation forum held in the county by a task force formed to assess the legal framework surrounding gender based violence issues in the country.
