The national government has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a disability-inclusive society by strengthening policies, expanding social protection programs, and ensuring that persons with disabilities are fully integrated into national development. Government Spokesperson Dr. Isaac Mwaura says the Constitution, the Persons with Disabilities Act 2025, and the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda have disability inclusion at the centre of Kenya’s progress.
