Government flags defaulters of KSh 12B Hustler Fund loans

Kenyans who borrow money from the hustler fund are marked and cannot avoid paying back what they owe. Hustler fund CEO Henry Tanui says the loans are linked to their identity card numbers, regardless of the channels they used to access the funds. Tanui said the fund is owed 12.5billion by defaulters. He was speaking before the parliamentary special funds accounts committee, where he said that 15% of the borrowers have refused to repay.
