Government investigating presence of Jubaland forces in Mandera

The government is investigating reports from Mandera on the alleged presence of Jubaland forces within the county. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen says investigating agencies are probing the claims and any aliens found will be dealt with as per the law. Mandera County Governor Mohammed Adan Khalif had earlier confirmed the presence of the forces within the country`s borders even as he urged the relevant authorities to take necessary action and prevent any destruction and loss of lives.
