Government to open 18 new KMTC campuses

The national government will immediately begin the operationalization of 18 new Kenya Medical Training College campuses across the country. Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki, who presided over the 94th KMTC graduation ceremony, announced that the government will allocate KSh 1 billion to allow more admission of students. The deputy president emphasized that KMTC plays a pivotal role in training medical professionals and community health promoters, key pillars in the realization of universal health coverage.
