    Kenyans have defaulted on repaying sh12 billion borrowed from the hustler fund since it started in November 2022, as the government maintains no money has been lost in the process. Speaking when he appeared before the National Assembly Special Funds Accounts Committee, Hustler Fund CEO Henry Tanui said Kenyans had borrowed 83 billion shillings, but only 71 billion shillings had been repaid. Members of the committee raised concerns over the measures the government is using to recover the money.
