Government slashes university fees in major relief for parents

It’s a reprieve for parents as the Government slashes university fees for all academic programmes in Public Universities. This comes after a presidential committee reviewed the previous fee structure, which had faced widespread criticism from parents and students. Education Cabinet Secretary Migos Ogamba stated that the Ministry conducted extensive research on the financial capabilities of parents and has now established revised tuition fee levels for different programmes.
