The government of Kenya has been sued for allegedly exempting a manufacturer 188.9 billion shillings thus denying the country revenue. Lawyer Apollo Mboya the petitioner told the court that the state had committed an Unfair Tax Administrative Action causing the country to lose billions of shillings that would have been remitted as tax to aid the country in development. Nairobi’s High Court is set to deliver a ruling on the matter on the 9th October.Details in the Scales of Justice Segment.
