Residents of Lamu County are calling on the government to urgently resolve persistent land disputes that continue to fuel tension and division in the region. The call was amplified by the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) Archbishop David Njuguna, who noted that land ownership is a major issue that needs to be dealt with urgently. He stressed that land ownership resolution through insurance of land Title deeds will lead to peace and integration between existing Lamu communities.
