Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo has called on the youth in Nyamira for talks, following the occupy county demonstrations last Tuesday. Speaking at Sironga where he had visited to inspect the progress of the ongoing construction of Nyamira Industrial Park, Nyaribo requested the youth to meet him next week on Wednesday at Uhuru Gardens in Nyamira town, for an engagement to resolve the ongoing demonstrations against his administration. The thousands of youths who last week on Tuesday staged demonstrations in Nyamira town and at the county headquarters want the county government to among other issues resolve issues of a heavy wage bill, lack of development, unemployment and stalled projects among other issues.
