Governors have warned that critical services, including healthcare, are at risk of coming to a standstill. Governors are Adamant that 400 billion shillings should be disbursed to counties in the current financial year, despite the Treasury proposing to release a paltry 20 billion shillings. Appearing before the Senate Finance and Budget Committee, they urged the National Treasury to release the allocated funds promptly.
